Absolutely fantastic evening. The food was amazing and we were able to watch it being cooked on the open fire. One of the best meals I’ve ever had. Perfect atmosphere and the staff were so attentive, we will definitely be returning, can’t recommend enough.

We travel up from Manchester and last night was our 5th visit to this wonderful place and it never disappoints! The setting the food and ambience is simply wonderful but the lamb last night was chefs kiss . Selfishly We don’t want to ...

Have wanted to visit for a number of years, finally managed to get a table on Easter Sunday for lunch. The atmosphere when we arrived was brilliant, watching food being cooked on the most elaborate BBQ ever. Under the nut tree is the most unique dining experience. Food, could not fault it, chicken starter was so delicious, probably best Lamb main I have ever had cooked on a BBQ, and the chocolate easter pie was a hit, definitely worth the wait and looking forward to dining with you again soon.

What a fantastic place. The hosts and staff are so warm and welcoming. The setting is idyllic and it's a wonderfully relaxed eating experience. The food was fantastic,it's a set menu, which takes the hassle out of deciding what you want. It's all cooked outside, over the most spectacular fire grill. The seating area outside was relaxing, with great music playing and fires to sit round when the temperature began to drop off. It's bring your own drink and glass, although there is water and a glass available on the table. No corkage fee either so you can drink as much as you like. 55 plus a well deserved tip for three course meal with table service and chilling by the fire in to the late hours of the evening, in a beautiful place on a summer evening is more than worth it. We will be back for sure. Thank you x

My new favourite place! I have already rebooked absolutely amazing venue and the owners and staff were so lovely! The food was beautiful and lots of it too! Thank you for the best evening!

A really lovely evening! Pre warning: you will come away smelling like smoke/bonfire! But the food is totally worth it. Everything was cooked beautifully and had so much flavour. Was brilliant being able to watch your food being cooked/prepared right in front of you. It’s bring your own drinks so we took a cool box of drinks and served ourselves. Dog friendly too, as long as on leads. A great family run evening! Keep an eye on their social media page to see what the menu will be for when you book to go as they change it up regularly!

BANGER First time visiting this place for my brother's 40th and we all absolutely loved it. Portion sizes were huge and the food was fantastic - beautifully cooked tomahawk steak with potatoes, salad and the largest asparagus we have seen. Atmosphere was lovely, as was the service.
